Finding Peace

another first...

For Mother’s Day, Steve had ordered me this deck couch. Probably the last things he purchased and/or knew how to purchase online.

I didn’t know why he did this, I remember mentioning how relaxing they looked and thought our deck was a perfect spot for one.

Today, on this Father’s Day eve, I sat outside, read a book and actually took a nap there this afternoon. I felt comfort. I felt at peace here.

Maybe he knew this would be our place, where I would look up to the sky and feel his love & peace.
